The\u00a0Dominator II <\/strong>is a revamped surfboard that brings with it an exciting upgrade to one of Firewire’s classic models, which has been in their product line since 2008 and is considered one of the most useful surfboards in most surfers’ “quiver”.<\/span><\/p>\n

The new version retains the charm of the original, but improves it so that it performs well in a wider range of conditions.<\/span><\/p>\n

The most noticeable change is in the tail \u2013 instead of a round tail like the original model, they switched to a\u00a0<\/span>Squash tail<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0that gives more release in turns, without losing the smooth feel in rail-to-rail transitions.<\/span><\/p>\n

The rails have also been updated \u2013 they are now sharper and more precise, allowing for higher performance in strong waves.<\/span><\/p>\n

The concave remains the same under the forefoot, but towards the heel it becomes a double concave with a slight V that adds speed and flow.<\/span><\/p>\n

The bottom line is, a model that is suitable for those looking for an everyday surfboard with modern performance, fast, loose and flowing, that copes excellently with both weak and good waves.<\/span><\/p>\n
